The feisty Colombian, who was sent off just minutes into their World Cup opener this summer, has already spent some time in the Premier League with Aston Villa.
The Hammers have done loads of impressive business this summer, but without a defensive midfielder it would all be for nothing, as they are a little light in midfield.

However, fans don’t seem very happy at all with the move for Sanchez, as he’s not exactly the most technically gifted midfielder.
The 88-cap ace will certainly get stuck in and break up opposition attacks, but he doesn’t feel like the right fit for a free-flowing Pellegrini team.
